Senator John McCain Dear Senator McCain: You
are a man of dignity, character, and courage and it is a high honor
for Citizens for Life Political Action Committee to endorse your candidacy
for President of the United States. Citizens
for Life is the affiliate in New Hampshire of the National Right to
Life Committee, the nation’s largest and most effective pro-life organization.
We, thus, well understand the burden of the serious work to which we
have devoted every fiber of our energy. As you, we choose life. Your
voting record on abortion is 100 percent pro-life, an expression of
magnificent compassion for unborn babies. You
have voted to protect our minor daughters from the abuse of secret abortions.
You know that two people are killed when deadly violence is inflicted
on pregnant women, and you helped pass the Unborn Victims of Violence
Act. You consistently vote to honor the conscience of the huge majority
of Americans by opposing the use of our tax dollars for the most illicit
of purposes, such as the United Nations funding of the atrocity of forced
abortions and sterilizations imposed on women in the Peoples Republic
of China. You helped pass the federal ban on the horror of partial-birth
abortion. It
seems unthinkable that an American running for President – Barack
Obama – would oppose you on all these issues. You helped us pass the
Born Alive Infants Protection Act that prevents abortionists from killing
babies who have survived abortions. They must now give comfort and care
to these little infants. It is absolutely disturbing that an American
running for President – Barack Obama – opposes you on this issue. I
know you are a private man, but I have learned of qualities you possess
and act on from people who know of your heroism that the rest of us
never get to hear. I have heard from Karl Rove and others about Character
and Giving and Service. You are a man of truth and honor, and Citizens
for Life PAC is excited to endorse you for President of the United States
of America. |
