Senator John Sununu Dear Senator Sununu: It
is an honor to send this letter of endorsement to you. Citizens for
Life Political Action Committee endorses your re-election to the United
States Senate with the highest enthusiasm. You have a perfect, 100 percent
voting record expressing in action your sympathy for the most vulnerable
members of our human family. Your
pro-family action in support of requiring the notification of the parents
of minor girls before abortions are performed on them is emblematic
of a compassion that extends very far and thoroughly into all the communities
in New Hampshire – and the entire nation. You protect our daughters
from predators. You
have shown the greatest sensitivity to taxpayers of conscience who do
not want their money spent on abortion at home or in international programs.
You have courageously and repeatedly refused to allow the use of American
funds for the United Nations program that pays for the forced abortion
and sterilization atrocities committed by the government of the Peoples
Republic of China. You
saw two victims when a child-bearing mother and her baby were killed,
and you helped pass the Unborn Victims of Violence Act. Now a killer
may be charged with two homicides when he commits deadly violence against
pregnant women. It
stuns all people of goodwill that your opponent, Jeanne Shaheen, is
on the wrong side of all these issues. We
wish you the best, Senator Sununu. We are truly grateful to be able
